XXVII SCHOOL OF PURE AND APPLIED BIOPHYSICS        in

Extracellular vesicles: form biophysical to translational challenges.

Venice, Italy - February 6-10 2023

The school focuses on contemporary emerging scientific topics. The selected subjects will draw young researchers' attention to frontier research issues of considerable scientific and educational impact. The School will be held in the magnificent Palazzo Franchetti, the seat of the Istituto Veneto located in the historical centre of Venice. In 2023, the school focuses on Extracellular vesicles (EVs) covering the following topics:

(i) EVs colloidal and surface properties

(ii) techniques for biophysical characterization

(iii) EVs versus other (synthetic and extracellular) nanoparticles

(iv) EVs manipulation and engineering.

Registration information

Applications are encouraged from all young scientists (PhD students and postdocs) interested in the topics of the school. A poster session will be held for students to present their activity. Pre-registration must be submitted using the instructions available at the school website. The deadline for pre-registration is October 15th 2022. Maximum 40 applicants are admitted to the school by the Scientific Committee based on the information provided on the application (short CV). The participation fee is 500 €, which includes five nights accommodation. The fee for students who do not need accommodation is 250 €.
